Stop Killing Us

So the Idea behind the "Stop Killing Us" article of today is inspired by the recently released single of Beyoncé- Formation- which was performed at the Super Bowl recently.
I have seen the video a couple of times, even though not up to scrutinies. But yet,I quite understand the theme being passed.
It talks about equal rights. It talks about the killings of Black Americans. It talks about superiority. It talks about people of colour. Discrimination is the major key point passed.
Here's a poem by me, following the general theme- "Stop Killing Us." Enjoy!

I sit close, with my eyes closed, to an open wind
A place without security
Wandering in my thoughts
If I would live for my potentials.

I open my eyes with tears flushing my face
Thinking there won't be tomorrow
Thinking it is my last opportunity
To inhale and exhale.

I still sit, crying
Seeking for help that may not come
Talking to the anonymous winds
Soaring for a betterment.

I go back to the stream of my thoughts
The place where I could seek refuge
The place I am sure could fly me to solutions
An upliftment

I am still helpless
The picture of me sleeping in a not-used-to mother
Without motion nor breath
Eyes subtly shut, keeps appearing

The world of the unknown appears
There windy in clamour
Joyful voices aloud
An abode of peace

But no! I refuse
I belong here, I say
Out of my thoughts
Crying harder

I shout for help
But I am different to be heard
I am a shaft in the gathering of beans
I stand out

I don't want to leave for that world
I cry for acceptance
The one which may take a long process
Nobody is here!

My heritage's done nothing
You preassumeably think my colour my heart
And so you kill me
You kill my brothers

Take me out of this river
Take us out of here
We don't belong here
We deserve a loving heart

Our hearts are not our complexion
They are not to scare you
But for unity
For joy and umpteenth care

Stop Killing Us
Stop taking our lives
Our brother's lives
No!

I am not going to cry further
I am not going to wander in thoughts anymore
Stop Killing Us
For we matter
